Alexandra Podell’s research interests are in help-seeking behaviors, upper extremity functionality and participation after stroke, and alleviating stroke patient caregiver burdens. She is also interested in the use of neurotechnology for stroke rehabilitation.

Alex earned her BS in Public Health from Tulane University in 2020. She is currently a second year student in the doctor of occupational therapy (OTD) program at MGH Institute of Health Professions.
