Susan Goedeken’s research interests include improving upper extremity function and quality of life after stroke. She has previously worked in a research lab focused on improving cognition for people with Parkinson’s disease.

Susan earned her MS in Occupational Therapy from Washington University in St. Louis in 2015, her MA in Middle Eastern Studies from the American University of Beirut in 2009, and a BA in English and Dance from the University of Iowa in 2000. Prior to becoming an OT, Susan worked in the arts and education.
